Legend of the Jersey Devil

Presented by Angus Gillespie

Professor of American Studies at Rutgers University

Is the Jersey Devil an evil fictional character or someone who actually inhabited this area 250 years ago and continues to spread horror among local residents... perhaps even today? Angus Gillespie has combed the Pine Barrens, knocked on doors, chatted up strangers in taverns, and slogged through trails in search of the truth about The Jersey Devil. If history or intrigue are interesting to you, this is a program that you aren't likely to hear anywhere else.
